Zebra blinds, also known as day and night blinds, are a modern type of window covering made from alternating horizontal stripes of sheer (transparent) and solid fabric. These stripes slide past each other to control the amount of light entering a room.

When the solid stripes overlap, the blinds block more light and provide privacy. When the sheer stripes align, they allow natural light to enter while still offering some visibility outside. The blinds roll up and down using a chain mechanism or motorized system.
